Kandinsky Pen and Pencil Set from The Met Museum

$128

Vasily Kandinsky (French, b. Russia, 1866—1944) was an early and vigorous advocate for abstraction in art, developing a theory that non-figurative forms and colors could express emotional and even spiritual ideals. Our bold pen and mechanical pencil set features two of the 12 works included in Kandinsky’s portfolio Kleine Welten (Small Worlds) (1922) and both present a flurry of movement and energy through color and line.
