Dated August 2, 1880, the sheet includes this enchanting little watercolor sketch of two apples from Manet’s garden. Adapted from the Museum’s Department of Drawings and Prints, this art-inspired design was made exclusively for The Met by John Derian. Based in New York City, Derian’s workshop is celebrated for his unique decoupage creations featuring hand-blown glass.
