Hydrangea Statement Necklace from The Met Museum

$165

This fashion-forward floral necklace reimagines the distinctive petals of hydrangea plants in recycled cast glass. It recalls a canvas in The Met collection by Fernand Khnopff (Belgian, 1858-1921). The artist underscored the prominence of this decorative houseplant by titling his painting Hortensia, the French word for hydrangea. The necklace was produced by Four Seasons Design Group, a family-run business based in Long Island, New York. The Met Store has sold the company’s unique jewelry designs, art-inspired reproductions, and home goods since 1969.
