This charming jewelry set was inspired by a 19th-century Japanese freshwater jar decorated with a row of whimsical grasshoppers. Our clever pendant and earrings will be sure to garner comments when worn. The original jar is among the many beautiful objects in The Met collected by Edward C. Moore (1827-1891). The striking treasures Moore amassed from around the world helped inform and inspire Tiffany & Co.’s innovative designs for American silver.
